Petr Šícha started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, FC Chorchoj's Petr Šícha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Kormos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 5th match minute, FC Chorchoj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Konečný to maneuver through the defense. Jan Jandera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Károly Tolnay, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jan Jandera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ottó Vámosi in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when FC Chorchoj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Kubiš didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Chorchoj's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Károly Tolnay scored to the left of an out of position Jan Jandera, making the score, 1-1. In the 28th minute, Szombathely Squirrels's Lajos Domonkos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Petr Šícha's late challenge caught a Szombathely Squirrels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petr Šícha helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 minutes, Ottó Vámosi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathely Squirrels and the FC Chorchoj players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ottó Vámosi kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Károly Tolnay to strike the kick off in the second half. When Michal Kubiš came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Šícha in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Chorchoj's Jan Kubíček got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Károly Tolnay came free, but Jan Jandera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Károly Tolnay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michal Kubiš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Róbert Kormos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Balázs Pálinkás got a free kick in the 92nd minute. During the 96th minute of the match Ottó Vámosi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ottó Vámosi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 97 played minutes, FC Chorchoj's Herbert Konečný shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Róbert Kormos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Chorchoj reached it. The FC Chorchoj players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Szombathely Squirrels from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
