Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antoni Wieser kicked off to start the match. Terry Kieffer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Wieser in the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigg Caduff to maneuver through the defense. Elvir Langer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Bismarck went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Bismarck got free with Elvir Langer in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Srdan Nigg fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motala AIF's protests and gave Srdan Nigg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Srdan Nigg to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, FC Lëtzebuerg's Michael Bismarck tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Schubert in the 17th minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Elvir Langer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terry Kieffer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Wieser, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Wieser to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Lëtzebuerg defense, Gaston Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Terry Kieffer. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terry Kieffer should have stopped the shot. In the 30th match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Erköseoglu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Michael Bismarck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Bismarck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Antoni Wieser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Bismarck was the one to do the kick off. Elvir Langer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry zu Castell-Rüdenhausen in the 51st minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Wieser came free, but Terry Kieffer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, FC Lëtzebuerg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Ferrara to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Ferrara hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Antoni Wieser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Terry Kieffer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Schubert in the 93rd minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Elvir Langer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvir Langer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Ludwick in the 94th minute of play. Elvir Langer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Ludwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Motala AIF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
