Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Válbson Azevedo kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Kiko Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadu Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gerson Lopez succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Fontes in the 22nd minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Elivélton Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Cadu Team's Cacá de Amorim seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cacá de Amorim the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cadu Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cacá de Amorim had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cadu Team! Dinei Salgado had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Virgílio Cunha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Virgílio Cunha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Elivélton Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válbson Azevedo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Carlos Alberto Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's Virgílio Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinei Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Cadu Team were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Mendes made a kick off. Alex Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Hílton Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matanza and Steelers's Elivélton Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Kiko Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elivélton Hoffmann. Kiko Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After 94 minutes, Alex Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matanza and Steelers and the Cadu Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cadu Team walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
