Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Paulo Travassos made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Paulo Travassos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Aracatiara EC's Toninho Tepedino. Toninho Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the game, Alberto Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leões do Sul 53's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aracatiara EC the free kick. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Aracatiara EC. Giovani Carioca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rafinha Penha. 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Vander came free, but Rafinha Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 23rd minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Rafinha Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's Ricardinho Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafinha Penha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leões do Sul 53's Rafinha Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Claudinho Arósio hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amílton Botelho made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardinho Vander got free with Rafinha Penha in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Rafinha Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Aracatiara EC's Ricardinho Vander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Leões do Sul 53's Claudinho Arósio got a free kick in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Paulo Travassos notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Aracatiara EC's Toninho Tepedino. Toninho Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 minutes, Tarcisio Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leões do Sul 53 and the Aracatiara EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Rafinha Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Soeiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, Aracatiara EC's Felippe Botelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafinha Penha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aracatiara EC reached it. 2-3 became the score in the 73rd minute when Amílton Botelho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Amílton Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafinha Penha was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the game, Amílton Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Rafinha Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Travassos might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Travassos ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafinha Penha made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ricardinho Vander sent off a good shot on target. Ricardinho Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Rafinha Penha made a huge save. Ricardinho Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Penha having to interfere. Paulo Travassos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Rafinha Penha came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Aracatiara EC's Ricardinho Vander. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. When the final whistle sounded Aracatiara EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leões do Sul 53.
