The Desportiva Ferroviaria-ES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edu Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Nico Mello hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Florestal Futebol Clube's Flávio Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
