Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elano Hermes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cleiton Paraíbas short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Erasmo Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the game, Cleiton Paraíba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Erasmo Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute Jonas Meirelles suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 14 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Ernani de Toledo. In the 17th match minute, Opera OMNES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano Hermes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Anísio Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDS Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto de Carvalho in the 22nd minute of the match. Erasmo Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto de Carvalho in the 32nd minute of play. Augusto de Carvalho scored 4-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Erasmo Azevedo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleiton Paraíba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Paraíba in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Diguinho Romero got a free kick in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Augusto de Carvalho notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Opera OMNES's Erasmo Azevedo. Erasmo Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Frédson Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Opera OMNES's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Paraíba came free, but Erasmo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Opera OMNES's Erasmo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton Paraíba in the 75th minute of play. Leandro de Sena's late challenge caught a MDS Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro de Sena helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Opera OMNES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Augusto de Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MDS Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Erasmo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Cleiton Paraíba scored 9-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Cleiton Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MDS Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Opera OMNES the free kick. In the 85th match minute, MDS Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Opera OMNES defense, Cleiton Paraíba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Azevedo. The Opera OMNES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Diguinho Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in MDS Soccer Club's zone, Alex Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Sampaio came out of the goal and Alex Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MDS Soccer Club had won after a very even match.
