An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo Hoffmann in the 13th minute of play forced Squall FC's goalkeeper Dário Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Urbano in the 14th minute of the match. Dário Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Squall FC's Dário Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Almeida in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Werneck FC - DMZ's Délio Fantini got control of the ball when Chiquinho das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chiquinho das Neves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 31st playminute. 33 minutes into the game, Werneck FC - DMZ's Dalmo Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dário Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Squall FC's Dário Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Donatello in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Squall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célio de Lima was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Eusébio Marquez in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Squall FC's Alberto Mineiro. Dário Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Abel Pires received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dário Viana came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Pires slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 55th minute. Nildo do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 2-5 came in the 60th minute when Giuseppe Almeida all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Dário Viana. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eusébio Marquez hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Eusébio Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo do Valle came free, but Délio Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Urbano got free with Dário Viana in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Chiquinho das Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Squall FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. In the 77th minute Abel Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dário Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Pires in the 90th minute of the match. Dário Viana came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Werneck FC - DMZ's Dalmo Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Dalmo Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-7.
