In the 6th minute of the match H4K.BR got a corner. Granadero10's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodriguinho Cavalcante ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jardel Coutinho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 8 minutes, Rodriguinho Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H4K.BR and the Granadero10 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to H4K.BR getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rodriguinho Cavalcante hit a great ball. After 15 minutes, Reinaldo Linhares made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Granadero10's Sydney Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes, H4K.BR's Rodriguinho Cavalcante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sydney Barros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in H4K.BR reached it. Erasmo Baiano was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Betão Senna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Betão Senna really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 34th minute, Reinaldo Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The H4K.BR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 36 minutes, Reinaldo Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. H4K.BR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Bernardinho Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão Senna took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Baiano. Erasmo Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 44th minute, Leonel Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sydney Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Medeiros in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Betão Senna to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho Medeiros got free with Sydney Barros in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erasmo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Motta in the 57th minute of the match. Edvaldo Madureira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Yuri Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Senna in the 91st minute of play forced H4K.BR's goalkeeper Erasmo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
