Patrick Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Cordeiro came free, but Patrick Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráuzio Ferraz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Leonardo Cordeiro scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafinha Neto got free with Edmílson de Lara in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute of the match, Charles Fonseca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmílson de Lara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Cordeiro in the 30th minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Patrick Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksi Lehmann made a kick off. Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Cordeiro in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Dragões de Campo Grande's Raimundo Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Patrick Machado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 69th minute Raimundo Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Patrick Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Cordeiro.
