The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Barbie Doll United U23 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Rui do Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. João Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alan Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Goiano having to interfere. 17 minutes in the game, Alan Gaúcho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without João Goiano having to interfere. With a little luck, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's João Goiano got control of the ball when Jeferson Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barbie Doll United U23's Nelsinho Godoi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Vicente Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Barbie Doll United U23's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Goiano made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jeferson Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Jeferson Fernandez scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Barbie Doll United U23's Nelsinho Godoi got a free kick in the 61st minute. Luiz Paulo Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The throw-in from Edson Urbano in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barbie Doll United U23's Vicente Meireles. After a defensive mix-up in DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's zone, Jeferson Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Goiano came out of the goal and Jeferson Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dé Vander. 83 minutes into the match, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Fernandez came free, but João Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico de Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir Hoffmann in the 84th minute. João Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Fernandez in the 87th minute of play.
