Kaká Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Armando Guimarães made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Ronaldinho Meira made a precise shot to the right of Armando Guimarães. Social Anarquia F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 20 minutes of play, Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Social Anarquia F.C.'s Luiz de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Habib Ali Picavea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusébio Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gláuber Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Haroldo Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Brodel. Morro Grande E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
