Botafogo AP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Carlos Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Botafogo AP's Nilton dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Novaes in the 28th minute of play. Nilton dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Novaes in the 29th minute of the match. With his leg Nilton dos Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Tiaguinho Novaes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gilberto Barros hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Cerezo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Botafogo AP supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ.
