Claudinei Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermínio Maia was the one to do the kick off. When Marquinhos Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos Brasil couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Giuseppe da Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinei Leite. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. Squadra Demarchi's Sidnei Bittencourt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Heintje Korte in the 85 minute of the game. Claudinei Leite was a little too slow when Giuseppe da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-3. Giuseppe da Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Leite having to make a save. When the match was over Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Squadra Demarchi throughout the match.
