Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. William Vasconcelos started the match with the kick off. Hugo Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 7 minutes, Claudinho Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the S.C Jardim Brasil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Claudinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cafu Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limoeiro-PE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlinhos de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, S.C Jardim Brasil's José Maria Vergílio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ricardo Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Cafu Nóbrega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlinhos de Mendonça. Cafu Nóbrega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to S.C Jardim Brasil getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Augusto Vieira hit a great ball. Jorge Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlinhos de Mendonça having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Fonseca in the 40th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Correia in the 41st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cafu Nóbrega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlinhos de Mendonça. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play.

57 minutes into the match, S.C Jardim Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Nóbrega came free, but Carlinhos de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Vasconcelos in the 60th minute of play. Limoeiro-PE FC's Ricardo Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Limoeiro-PE FC from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Vasconcelos in the 63rd minute of the match. Limoeiro-PE FC's David Batista was substituted for Claudinho Nascimento. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hugo Magalhães hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, S.C Jardim Brasil's William Vasconcelos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Carneiro. Ricardo Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Ernani Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ricardo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Limoeiro-PE FC's Nicolas Cardoso. But to his dismay, Nicolas Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Carlinhos de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Nóbrega in the 79th minute of play. Limoeiro-PE FC's Ricardo Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Vasconcelos in the 81st minute of play. Eliseu Camargo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of S.C Jardim Brasil booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Ricardo Carneiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 89 minutes into the game, Nicolas Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limoeiro-PE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C Jardim Brasil the free kick. The supporters of S.C Jardim Brasil booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcelo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Nóbrega in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C Jardim Brasil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Limoeiro-PE FC.
