In the 4th match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Brodel to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Vladimir Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dida Capixaba made a huge save. Cássio Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Garcia in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Belotaurus FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Duda Gerber hit a great ball. Cássio Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Trigo in the 16th minute of play. Dida Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Carlos Alberto Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio Garcia hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Trigo in the 39th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Cássio Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Velloso made a kick off. Ricardo Camargo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Luiz Fábio Garcia in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio Salles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Donato Arantes's late challenge caught a Belotaurus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. Donato Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Belotaurus FC's Cássio Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Trigo in the 66th minute of play. Dida Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Garcia in the 71st minute. Luiz Fábio Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Cássio Salles made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Cássio Salles managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Raimundo Félix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Diego Velloso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cássio Salles firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luciano Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
