Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) 4 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Carioca came free, but Murillo Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Locomotiva grena's Vitório Freire got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Vitório Freire came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Locomotiva grena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitório Freire couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorginho Sarmento during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Leme got free with Murillo Loyola in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Júlio Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Locomotiva grena getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vitório Freire hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorginho Sarmento in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Cardozo saved Cestarolli FC from getting behind. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when Locomotiva grena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, André Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Sarmento in the 38th minute of the match. Jorginho Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Cardozo having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Alberto Leme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cestarolli FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Jorginho Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Locomotiva grena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Sarmento couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorginho Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. André Bastos hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorginho Sarmento. Jorginho Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leonardo Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorginho Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamílton Matos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jorge Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cestarolli FC's zone, Vitório Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Cardozo came out of the goal and Vitório Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Leme struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Murillo Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestarolli FC. Murillo Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Leme in the 85th minute of play. Cestarolli FC's Leonardo Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Freire in the 87th minute of play. Vitório Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Vitório Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Locomotiva grena's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Locomotiva grena may have spent more time on the ball, but Cestarolli FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
