Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dráuzio Alvarenga made the kick off which started today's match. Luizinho de Queiroz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. André Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Luz in the 11th minute of play. André Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Luz in the 13th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Flávio Veloso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Paulo Velloso. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After 21 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Nico Pinheiro. Antônio Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Velloso having to interfere. Sandrinho Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cambotinha EC's Flávio Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Flávio Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambotinha EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antônio Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Velloso having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flávio Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Paulo Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flávio Veloso's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper André Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fábio Luz. 55 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Donatello came free, but Luís Paulo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Macedo in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Mexilhão F. C.'s Luís Fábio Luz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Reis. André Reis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Gugu Custódio's late challenge caught a Cambotinha EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gugu Custódio helped the player get up and apologised. André Reis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dráuzio Alvarenga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. If Adriano Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luís Paulo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeca do Vale. In the 89th minute, Flávio Veloso made a precise shot to the right of Luís Paulo Velloso. Mexilhão F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. If Antônio Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Cambotinha EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
