Antônio Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Donatello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto Quirino. Quandus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho Donatello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 31st minute Sidney Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Augusto Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Donatello in the 33rd minute of the match. João Carlos Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flávio Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee gave Cambotinha EC a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anderson de Toledo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quandus's João Augusto Quirino. 1-3. In the 44th match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson de Toledo to maneuver through the defense.

In the 53rd minute Flávio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quandus's João Augusto Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Veloso in the 57th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cambotinha EC's João Augusto Quirino threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flávio Veloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 60th minute, Cambotinha EC's Adriano Figueiredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Quandus's João Augusto Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Figueiredo in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Quandus's goalkeeper João Augusto Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandrinho Donatello. João Augusto Quirino made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Antônio Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Cambotinha EC's André Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Mello in the 68th minute of play. João Augusto Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Figueiredo went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Dráusio Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. André Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Figueiredo. 80 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Leão came free, but André Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Guilherme Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Quandus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cambotinha EC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Cambotinha EC's Anderson de Toledo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of João Augusto Quirino. Thanks to some nice moves Antônio Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which João Augusto Quirino however easily saved by the left post. The Quandus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cambotinha EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
