An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Albuquerque in the 13th minute of play forced Jr Familia Campos FC's goalkeeper Felipe Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Lira in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé Lira in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Koehler saved Jr Familia Campos FC from getting behind. Jr Familia Campos FC's Felipe Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Lira in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Júlio Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes, Jr Familia Campos FC's Marcus Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Godoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jr Familia Campos FC reached it. Rafael Godoi made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Dedê Freitas sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Montenegro made a great header on Jr Familia Campos FC's corner, it was just that Mamutes EC's Rafael Godoi managed to reach the ball for a save. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 40th minute, Túlio Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Silas Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Dedê Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Dedê Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Godoi. Mamutes EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedê Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dé Lira to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mamutes EC's Júlio Albuquerque in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jr Familia Campos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dé Lira in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felipe Koehler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Almir Damião in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Koehler saved Jr Familia Campos FC from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Jr Familia Campos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dé Lira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felipe Koehler made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Dé Lira sent off a good shot on target. Mamutes EC's Júlio Albuquerque was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Dedê Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jr Familia Campos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamutes EC the free kick. After 75 played minutes Jr Familia Campos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Freitas. 76 minutes into the match, Jr Familia Campos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Lira came free, but Felipe Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Lira in the 81st minute. Felipe Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Felipe Koehler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes into the game, Mamutes EC's Elano Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 96 minutes of play, Mamutes EC's Elano Maciel made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Mamutes EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jr Familia Campos FC.
