The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Waldir Matorin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Notts County BR's Júlio César. Júlio César was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geovanni Cardoso hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Geovanni Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Waldir Matorin put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio César. Jefferson Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Notts County BR booed when O MOTIVO ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elder Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Peixoto in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jefferson Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Notts County BR's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Waldir Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio César saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio César showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Rosa in the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Waldir Matorin put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio César. When Jefferson Braga came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Notts County BR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Braga couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, André Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Júlio César took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cássio Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Notts County BR's protests and gave Cássio Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of O MOTIVO ⚽ booed when Notts County BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Notts County BR getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Christiano Arruda hit a great ball. Oswaldo Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio César read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Waldir Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Júlio César tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jefferson Braga was the one to do the kick off. Elder Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Braga struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Elder Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Notts County BR. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Jefferson Braga put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Elder Seco. Cássio Peixoto was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 61st minute, Cássio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Válter Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Waldir Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes of play, Notts County BR's Váldson Paulista made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elder Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Váldson Paulista struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Elder Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Notts County BR. In the 89th minute, Murillo Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Váldson Paulista took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elder Seco. Elder Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Waldir Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Júlio César tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Waldir Matorin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4.
