Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Vitinho Teixeira made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Danilo Laguna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SRP-Laguna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Azevedo in the 7th minute of play forced Razer Sphex's goalkeeper Alexsandro Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, SRP-Laguna's Alexsandro Saraiva threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Augusto Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 12th minute, Danilo Laguna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Teixeira came free, but Anísio Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Carlos Augusto Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Carlos Augusto Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Augusto Azevedo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexsandro Saraiva saved Razer Sphex from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Edu Schmidt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SRP-Laguna and the Razer Sphex players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SRP-Laguna's Edu Schmidt got a free kick in the 20th minute. Wiliam Saldanha took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anísio Sena. Anísio Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Percy Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexsandro Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Azevedo in the 35th minute of play. Danilo Laguna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Saraiva having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Augusto Azevedo got free with Alexsandro Saraiva in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute SRP-Laguna were awarded a corner. Richard Trancoso went to the cornerflag to take it. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Razer Sphex's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Richard Trancoso was slow to take the kick. During this time SRP-Laguna's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SRP-Laguna's corner Richard Trancoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexsandro Saraiva quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Razer Sphex getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cafu Simão hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Augusto Azevedo to make the kick off. Alexsandro Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Laguna in the 52nd minute of play. When SRP-Laguna's Carlos Augusto Azevedo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Razer Sphex's goalie prevented a goal. Alexsandro Saraiva came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by SRP-Laguna's Carlos Augusto Azevedo. But to his dismay, Carlos Augusto Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Amílton Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Sena having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Cafu Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Laguna in the 89th minute of play forced Razer Sphex's goalkeeper Alexsandro Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Richard Trancoso hit a great ball. SRP-Laguna were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Razer Sphex for a fine match.
