Benedito de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Nicolao Crispino lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Anísio Sena. The audience was convinced that Nicolao Crispino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anísio Sena was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Elói Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Chaves came free, but Almir Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Elói Meireles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. SRP-Laguna's Anísio Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Meireles in the 55th minute of play. Dieguinho Gaúcho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anísio Sena. SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anísio Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Seneca, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute Nicolao Crispino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floresta Negra FC's Eusébio Alcântara was substituted for Breno Mendonça. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game.
