Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Gustavo Furlan kicked off to start the match. Adalberto Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jano Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adalberto Furtado was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Jano Simões took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalberto Furtado. Adalberto Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Dalmo de Queirós's shot from long distance in the 15th minute was not bad at all, but Alvinegro de Tupã's Dinei Moraes knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. If Arnaldo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Águia de Marabá STAND BY got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Esteves. In the 24th match minute, Águia de Marabá STAND BY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Tostão Branco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Adalberto Furtado didn't even have to move. The supporters of Alvinegro de Tupã booed when Águia de Marabá STAND BY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Arnaldo Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adalberto Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dinei Moraes was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Luís Gustavo Furlan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Gustavo Furlan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Luís Gustavo Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águia de Marabá STAND BY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Adalberto Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Fantini in the 41st minute of play. Arnaldo Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Adalberto Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jano Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adalberto Furtado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jano Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arnaldo Fantini made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Águia de Marabá STAND BY's Lucas Donatello got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Jano Simões came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Alvinegro de Tupã fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jano Simões couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Águia de Marabá STAND BY got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Jacinto. Adalberto Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Brasil in the 65th minute of play. Jano Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinei Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Alvinegro de Tupã's Tostão Branco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Águia de Marabá STAND BY. A collision led to Águia de Marabá STAND BY getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dalmo de Queirós hit a great ball. Alvinegro de Tupã's Jano Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Jano Simões sped through Águia de Marabá STAND BY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adalberto Furtado. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alvinegro de Tupã eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
