The referee showed Edu Bertassi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edu Bertassi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Edinho da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Ferreira in the 18th minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Atlético da Colina's Amadeu Paranaense made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho da Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Léo Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Edinho da Rocha. BLACK STAR FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Edinho da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Veiga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. BLACK STAR FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Amadeu Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético da Colina's protests and gave Amadeu Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Atlético da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Paranaense. BLACK STAR FC's Gernando Ribeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atlético da Colina. Natã Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Bertassi in the 59th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, BLACK STAR FC's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Paraíba. Rafael Paraíba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edinho da Rocha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edinho da Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvério de Senna in the 68th minute. Rafael Paraíba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Edinho da Rocha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edinho da Rocha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luiz Eduardo Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edinho da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BLACK STAR FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luiz Eduardo Nogueira 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. In the 85th match minute, Atlético da Colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. BLACK STAR FC's Edinho da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save BLACK STAR FC from getting a goal against them. Amadeu Paranaense got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st minute, Amadeu Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafael Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BLACK STAR FC's Edinho da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save BLACK STAR FC from getting a goal against them. Atlético da Colina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
