Hélder Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Pinho in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Severo to maneuver through the defense. Mário Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Pinho in the 9th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Geraldo Linares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Bertassi in the 21st minute of play forced Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper Mário Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A A Arizona's Pedro Luís Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geraldo Linares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Siqueira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Geraldo Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Siqueira having to interfere. The A A Arizona fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when A A Arizona's Hélder Pinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Hélder Pinho made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Pedro Luís Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes in the game, Hélder Pinho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mário Queiroz having to interfere. Mazinho Godoi had several of the Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Mário Queiroz as he didn't even see the shot coming. 61 minutes into the game, Mazinho Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mário Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mário Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mazinho Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Mário Queiroz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Mazinho Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Mário Queiroz, making the score, 1-5. Dito Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Luís Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Queiroz having to interfere. Mazinho Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mário Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardinho Borges hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Mazinho Godoi scored 1-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded A A Arizona left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร.
