Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michel Morata started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Michel Cannavaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Marinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorginho Peres went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio Marinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, Jânio Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Scarlet Speedster's zone, Michel Morata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu de Toledo came out of the goal and Michel Morata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. In the 20thth minute of the game Romário Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When ADM Taquaras's Carlos Lira in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scarlet Speedster's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Carlos Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scarlet Speedster's Dudu de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Carlos Lira got a free kick in the 34th minute. Romário Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Marinho came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Scarlet Speedster's Jorginho Peres. But to his dismay, Jorginho Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Michel Ibrahimovic made a great header on ADM Taquaras's corner, it was just that Scarlet Speedster's Dudu de Toledo managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carlos Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu de Toledo having to interfere. When Carlos Lira fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Carlos Lira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Scarlet Speedster made a substitution. Leonardo Pombal replaced Jorginho Peres. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Carlos Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dudu de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 78th minute Leonardo Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior da Fonseca in the 83rd minute of play. If Júnior da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Pombal in the 87th minute of the match. Décio Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Bueno in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Leonardo Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's Allan Souto got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Scarlet Speedster's zone, Michel Ibrahimovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu de Toledo came out of the goal and Michel Ibrahimovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Scarlet Speedster fully deserved thier win.
