Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) New Joinville - FSCMZ's Claudinho Terra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustavo Gustavson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Rodrigues in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Callegari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. If João Vítor Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos Simão hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Hugo Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Hugo Favoretto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Davi Paiva to make any attempt to save it. Callegari's Davi Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Callegari from getting a goal against them. Davi Paiva was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Guga Velasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guga Velasco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 35th minute, Chicão Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Callegari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Favoretto came free, but Davi Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Terra in the 42nd minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Davi Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexsandro Rodrigues made a kick off. Davi Paiva came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Hugo Favoretto. But to his dismay, Hugo Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Bruno de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Diamantino Britto hit a great ball. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Deivid Vander replaced Thomás Cardoso. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Marcel Goiano was substituted for Armando Massa. After recieving a nice pass, Callegari's Alessandro Cearense tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Terra in the 67th minute of play forced Callegari's goalkeeper Davi Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Alfredinho Fernandes got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Callegari's Chicão Sergipano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Callegari's Ediberto Quintal was substituted for Alessandro Cearense. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gustavo Gustavson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Guga Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callegari the free kick. After 86 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Guga Velasco. New Joinville - FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
