Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ismael Vergaray started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Soldados De Román got a freekick which was hit by Kolos Barco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Cristofol in the 7th minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Emilio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soldados De Román's Kaká Tua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Vergaray in the 10th minute of play. Emilio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Tomás Marini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT and the Soldados De Román players grew even worse after the yellow card. 17 minutes into the match, Soldados De Román's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Vergaray came free, but Kaká Tua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Emilio Vitin got control of the ball when Astor Cristofol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaká Tua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Vergaray in the 22nd minute of the match. Kaká Tua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Panfilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Soldados De Román got a freekick which was hit by Kolos Barco. In the 27th minute of the match Osvaldo Turi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká Tua skillfully saved the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Ismael Vergaray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soldados De Román's Kaká Tua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Kolos Barco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Rigoberto Xacintu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká Tua skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Cristofol to make the kick off. Erubiel Ramone took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Vitin. Emilio Vitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 57th minute, Soldados De Román's Arnoldo Arnau seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arnoldo Arnau the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soldados De Román protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnoldo Arnau had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Soldados De Román:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT:s goal. The referee gave Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rigoberto Xacintu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Soldados De Román's Kaká Tua. 1-2. Erubiel Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play, Soldados De Román's Erubiel Ramone made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Vitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prudencio Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Vitin having to interfere. Kaká Tua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Soldados De Román getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Leonides Artizar hit a great ball. Rigoberto Xacintu, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
