Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 0) Regresado's Zacarias Escobar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ladislao Montez charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Montez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jairo Telesforo came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldo Tomi could save by the left post. Osvaldo Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Domenec in the 8th minute of play. After 11 played minutes, Regresado's David Neron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Xabel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Regresado reached it. Zacarias Escobar scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Xabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Xabel having to interfere. Diego Xabel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Escobar's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Cristobal Domenec's late challenge caught a Regresado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Domenec helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Diadema's zone, Eustaquio Oxarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Xabel came out of the goal and Eustaquio Oxarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Regresado's goalkeeper Osvaldo Tomi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Telesforo. When Zacarias Escobar came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Regresado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Escobar couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Sidoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Sidoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jairo Telesforo might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo Tomi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Telesforo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute, Zacarias Escobar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Xabel. The goal made the score 0-2. Diego Xabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Escobar in the 58th minute. The Diadema supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Regresado's performance. The match ended with a win for Regresado.
