Guido Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Orzaize, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Guido Herrera made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jeronimo Ixaka sent off a good shot on target. After 15 minutes of play, Los Triperos F.C.'s Jeronimo Ixaka made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Herrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, MARTINETA's Francisco Nesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Manny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guido Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Orlanda in the 34th minute of the match. Guido Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Orzaize in the 36th minute of play. MARTINETA's Francisco Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Evelio Orzaize had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Herrera. MARTINETA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Orzaize was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Jeronimo Ixaka made the kick off in the second half. Agustín Ruberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ivan Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Francisco Nesor took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ivan Manny to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th minute, Francisco Nesor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ivan Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Los Triperos F.C. booed when MARTINETA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Mateus in the 65th minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Guido Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Agustín Ruberto made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Manny. Los Triperos F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Abel Gabino fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARTINETA's protests and gave Abel Gabino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, MARTINETA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Gabino to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Manny having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Los Triperos F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
