The Gasoleros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Lino Ireno came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the El Dragón del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Ireno couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 12 in the game by Sebastian Asier from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Belarmo managed to make a qualified save. Gasoleros FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Gasoleros FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jorge Evarado hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, El Dragón del Sur's Sebastian Asier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Belarmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Asier in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Belarmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd match minute, El Dragón del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. When Angelo Alfonso fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gasoleros FC's protests and gave Angelo Alfonso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Dragón del Sur booed when Gasoleros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Marino made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gasoleros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Ireno came free, but Gilberto Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Belarmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Asier's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes El Dragón del Sur got a freekick which was hit by Lino Ireno. 84 minutes into the match, El Dragón del Sur's goalkeeper Mateo Berenguer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Aztore. After 89 minutes, Sebastian Asier made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gasoleros FC's Gilberto Belarmo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd match minute, Gasoleros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Aztore to maneuver through the defense. The El Dragón del Sur fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gasoleros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
