When Boca Juniors's Ceferino Gonza in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boca Juniors's Antonio Senon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arsenio Canor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Remigio got free with Romulo Rameriz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Ceferino Gonza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Canor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Copérnico F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
