Edgardo Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Eufemio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Rincón booed when Old School FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Fernando Froylan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Jax. Fernando Froylan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ismael Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Froylan in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Alejandro Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Ibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Hilario Eufemio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rincón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Old School FC the free kick. A collision led to Rincón getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hilario Eufemio hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Romulo Oro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rincón and the Old School FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rincón booed when Old School FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Vellito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Ceferino Hernandez put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rincón fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Old School FC's Fernando Froylan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ismael Jax. 40 minutes into the match, Hilario Eufemio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Papo. Old School FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Eufemio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Fernando Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ismael Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Rincón's Ismael Jax got control of the ball when Uriel Ibar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Oro to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Romulo Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rincón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Oro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Romulo Oro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgardo Papo. Romulo Oro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Emilio Castel's late challenge caught a Old School FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Castel helped the player get up and apologised. 68 minutes into the match, Rincón's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ibar came free, but Ismael Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Qwinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rincón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Old School FC the free kick. Uriel Ibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Ermegildo Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Rincón players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
