The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliano Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Beat in the 4th minute of play. Club Deportivo Español's Aureliano Maore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Paio in the 6th minute of play. Aureliano Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Aureliano Maore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Beat went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Cristobal Ekialde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 40 minutes, Generoso Dolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Español and the Paso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Generoso Dolfo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Paulo Paio struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Aureliano Maore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paso FC. In the 44th minute, Jesus Diagur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Maore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Patricio Hernandez made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Aureliano Maore got control of the ball when Cristobal Ekialde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Aureliano Maore made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Pascual Rito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliano Maore. That made the score 0-8 in the 86 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Hernandez in the 90th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Aureliano Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Hernandez in the 97th minute of the match. Paso FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
