Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Jerico took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Lucio Soin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Asur. Gaviotas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Soin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Rico made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jaime Jerico sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute, Lucio Soin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Faustino Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaplan's Serafino Rico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Kaplan from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goalkeeper Serafino Rico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Gimenez. In the 43rd minute, Gaston Gudesteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gaviotas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kaplan were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Lastur to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejo Lastur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Pedro Asur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Rico having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Mambru. In the 60th minute, Baldomiro Oliverios made a precise shot to the right of Serafino Rico. Kaplan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a little luck, Gaviotas FC's Pedro Asur got control of the ball when Faustino Mambru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomiro Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Rico having to interfere. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Ildefonso Ortle replaced Baldomiro Oliverios. In the 71st minute, Mauricio Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kaplan's Faustino Mambru in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gaviotas FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Cordera. Serafino Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Gaviotas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kaplan's performance. The match ended with a win for Kaplan.
