La Cosa Nostra's Atilano Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Sugar in the 2nd minute of play. When Valentin Sugar came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Dionisia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Sugar couldn't finish the play. If Valentin Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Cordarell in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Kemen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Aritza got free with Denis Kemen in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Bixintxo. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Edelmiro Quin hit a great ball. Atilano Urre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Sugar's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Porfirio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dionisia's Tomás Vimaro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Herrera to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Vimaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Pietro to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's Laureano Endura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Kemen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcial Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Urre having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Atilano Urre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Marcos Admon fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cosa Nostra's protests and gave Marcos Admon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dionisia booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Erubiel Herrera 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Marcial Jeraldo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Atilano Urre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dionisia. After a defensive mix-up in La Cosa Nostra's zone, Erubiel Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Urre came out of the goal and Erubiel Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Urre having to interfere. Laureano Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Atilano Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Vimaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Marcial Jeraldo got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Benjamin Niva got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dionisia's zone, Laureano Endura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Kemen came out of the goal and Laureano Endura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Dionisia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
