An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Ceandro in the 33rd minute of play forced Ayapaso's goalkeeper Gavino Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Enzo FC's Gogo Salvadore to a score. 1-1 in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Ayapaso defense, Astor Ferman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Cristos. The Ayapaso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Cristos should have stopped the shot. Basilio Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Cristos having to interfere. With a little luck, Enzo FC's Osvaldo Manex got control of the ball when Lucio Luzaide tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Basilio Cambranes made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Anacleto Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot.
