Victorino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gudesteo in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Rito in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martín Rojas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Gudesteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Victorino Gaufred made a huge save. Victorino Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Ishmael in the 34th minute of the match. Victorino Gaufred made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Ishmael in the 37th minute. After the first half Frontera AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Gudesteo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Bonachea in the 84th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Ishmael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes, Silverio Loramendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1947 FC and the Frontera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
