Mario Lorien was slow to take the kick. During this time Jabones Tocadores's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jabones Tocadores's corner Mario Lorien fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabricio Nahia quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Jabones Tocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Gonchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Herensuge got free with Fabricio Nahia in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes Jabones Tocadores got a freekick which was hit by Mario Lorien. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Benedicto Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a little luck, Jabones Tocadores's Geronimo Ferrando got control of the ball when Benedicto Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line.
