A collision led to Deportivo Pergamino getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Roberto Firmin hit a great ball. Jimeno Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Aresti having to interfere. Amadeo Leguizamón's late challenge caught a Alzaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Leguizamón helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Alzaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Lluterio. 40 minutes into the match, Alzaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Sancho came free, but Benedicto Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Norberto Cucao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Norberto Cucao made the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Charro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Benedicto Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Piorno, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Cucao in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedicto Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Sancho went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Benedicto Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Cucao in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Manuel Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Alzaga FC were awarded a corner. Salvador Quirze went to the cornerflag to take it. Deportivo Pergamino's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Placido Lia scored to the left of an out of position Hermengildo Aresti, making the score, 2-1. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Deportivo Pergamino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Muc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Quirze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Aresti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Pergamino had won after a very even match.
