In the 12th match minute, New Whiteland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quincy Burks to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Hugo Celis got free with Peter Cuevas in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marín Quiñones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Marshall in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Victor Hugo Celis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Cuevas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Quincy Burks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, New Whiteland FC's Blaine Longoria got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of New Whiteland FC booed when Club Deportivo Diagüita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Hugo Celis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper Peter Cuevas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Hugo Celis. Marín Quiñones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quincy Burks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quincy Burks during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Quincy Burks kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Joel Tordesillas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peter Cuevas. New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute, Pierre Bonvallet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, New Whiteland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Babarovic came free, but Peter Cuevas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Cuevas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabino Pizarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Club Deportivo Diagüita were the better team. Club Deportivo Diagüita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
