When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Pablo Bermudez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gartzi Ansola to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhaitz Villafuentes came free, but Jorge Oberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Pablo Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenaventura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buenaventura FC's Jorge Oberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balesio Bueno in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when ConChanfle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocio Acebero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Franklin Zambrano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gartzi Ansola came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's Pablo Bermudez. But to his dismay, Pablo Bermudez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Balesio Bueno might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Oberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balesio Bueno ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franklin Zambrano was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, ConChanfle FC's Zuhaitz Villafuentes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Franklin Zambrano succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Jorge Oberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Oberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balesio Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Pablo Bermudez's late challenge caught a ConChanfle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. Sustrai Madinabeitia scored 3-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Oberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Balesio Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Oberto. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. In the 76th match minute, ConChanfle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rami Icedo to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes, Buenaventura FC's Enrique Gómez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gartzi Ansola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buenaventura FC reached it. When Balesio Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ConChanfle FC's protests and gave Balesio Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Oberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Vizcaino in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Buenaventura FC's Jorge Oberto got control of the ball when Balesio Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of ConChanfle FC booed when Buenaventura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Moscoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Oberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Vizcaino in the 94th minute of play.
