Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Zaquiel Boñar made the kick off and thus started the match. Zaquiel Boñar had several of the Flagstaff's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Simon Rainey as he didn't even see the shot coming. Diego Carredano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 6th playminute. 10 minutes into the game, Elvis Jacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flagstaff's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astillero del Guayas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Flagstaff's Elvis Jacob got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Astillero del Guayas's Diego Carredano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Rainey was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes in the game Elvis Jacob did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kirk Miranda. 16 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Xofre Campomanes came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blanco Vidales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kermit Regan in the 19th minute of play. Simon Rainey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaquiel Boñar in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Zaquiel Boñar came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astillero del Guayas's Diego Carredano got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Diego Carredano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astillero del Guayas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.

Diego Carredano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Rainey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Carredano went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flagstaff! Enrique Antonijoan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 63rd minute, Diego Carredano made a precise shot to the right of Simon Rainey. Flagstaff's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Archie Adams charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Archie Adams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Flagstaff got a freekick which was hit by Archie Adams. Simon Rainey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Carredano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Flagstaff's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xuoco Canal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Astillero del Guayas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
