Matamba Arenal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Leandro Candina made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Matamba Arenal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Deportivo Santiago's Leandro Candina. Leandro Candina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Urre Fontiveros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Candina was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matamba Arenal to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Sardaneta's late challenge caught a RockCity F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Sardaneta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Santiago's Peter Sardaneta got a free kick in the 50th minute. The audience was convinced that Matamba Arenal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Candina was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Xavies Hubieta hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matamba Arenal in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Candina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Candina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matamba Arenal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, one of Club Deportivo Santiago:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Club Deportivo Santiago:s Leandro Candina showed great skill when he stopped Matamba Arenal:s penalty. In the 71st minute, Matamba Arenal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Candina was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 76th play minutes Matamba Arenal shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Leandro Candina and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matamba Arenal in the 82nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Leandro Candina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Navarro Valdero's late challenge caught a RockCity F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Navarro Valdero helped the player get up and apologised. Navarro Valdero kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Gomez Ayo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Club Deportivo Santiago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gomez Ayo couldn't finish the play. Leandro Candina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matamba Arenal in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Gomez Ayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Ingla was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
