The tension between the Slower Lower FC and the PUKOHAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Slower Lower FC's Felipe Wilkinson got a free kick in the 4th minute. Kurt Kilgore might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyce Skinner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Kilgore in the 21st minute of play forced Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Boyce Skinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PUKOHAS FC's Levi Keen pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Porter Gutierrez during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Porter Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyce Skinner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Kilgore's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Kurt Kilgore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boyce Skinner. Slower Lower FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Kilgore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Marlin Whitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Skinner having to interfere. Kurt Kilgore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th match minute, Slower Lower FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Henderson to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Seth Yeats made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Marlin Whitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. PUKOHAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marlin Whitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 69th minute, Major Harden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boyce Skinner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marlin Whitt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. During the 78th minute of the match Porter Gutierrez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Porter Gutierrez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 78 played minutes Slower Lower FC got a freekick which was hit by Porter Gutierrez. Kurt Kilgore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Boyce Skinner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 81 minutes into the game, Marlin Whitt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5.
