In the 21st minute of the match Anacleto Santis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Abechuco skillfully saved the ball. Uriel Villamil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Abechuco having to interfere. Zeledon Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Saravia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Saravia scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Abechuco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeledon Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Denton in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Denton in the 34th minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Zeledon Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ☠QUINTERO☠ fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when ☠QUINTERO☠'s Uriel Villamil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Quim Anziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Saravia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Abechuco came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by ☠QUINTERO☠'s Patricio Saravia. But to his dismay, Patricio Saravia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Nacional Potosí defense, Fortunato Denton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Abechuco. The Nacional Potosí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Abechuco should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ángel Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Saravia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Abechuco having to interfere. Nacional Potosí's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Anacleto Santis scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Abechuco, making the score, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Saravia in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Abechuco saved Nacional Potosí from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Quirze Abello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Patricio Saravia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Abechuco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Caupolicán Iparraguirre got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Ángel Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevan Sirens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Abechuco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anacleto Santis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 71 minute of play. Zeledon Abechuco made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Patricio Saravia sent off a good shot on target. Uriel Villamils short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Zeledon Abechuco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 79 minutes into the game, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Patricio Saravia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Abechuco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Patricio Saravia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Abechuco having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Saravia got free with Zeledon Abechuco in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeledon Abechuco made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Patricio Saravia sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Abechuco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Saravia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 92 minute of play. When the match was over ☠QUINTERO☠ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nacional Potosí throughout the match.
