The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Baez FC's Juan Jose Mac Kenzie got a free kick in the 6th minute. Severino Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolome Erosa in the 74th minute of the match. Gerardo Villalón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Idacio Llopiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, one of VERDOLAGA CITY FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maurín Dagnino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idacio Llopiz having to interfere. Maurilio Mendoza hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Baez FC's Severino Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolome Erosa in the 98th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
