Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubén Litago in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Badia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Matthäus in the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Lothar Matthäus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Badia. The goal made the score 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Litago in the 48th minute of play forced Real Rocamora's goalkeeper Benicio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half VAR is coming were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lothar Matthäus to strike the kick off in the second half. VAR is coming's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lothar Matthäus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
