The Universitario de deportes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Rallo should have stopped the shot. Lucas Rallo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaizkine Escobar went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to U Alcaravaneras getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jos Decremer hit a great ball. U Alcaravaneras's Bassam Wahbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save U Alcaravaneras from getting a goal against them. Lucas Rallo was a little too slow when Ceandro Castillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U Alcaravaneras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
