With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato Tapia in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karlos Vuelta saved Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 from getting behind. Pepe Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Uribe in the 6th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Arias. The throw-in from Fran Abasalo in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Calisto Camacho. Karlos Vuelta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Tapia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Tapia in the 20th minute of play forced Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goalkeeper Karlos Vuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Uribe in the 23rd minute of play. Guillermo Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlos Vuelta having to interfere. Karlos Vuelta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Tapia in the 38th minute of play. Sergio Cano made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luisinho Uribe however managed to control. After 42 minutes, Luisinho Uribe made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Real Club Celta de Vigo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Marin in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renato Tapia was the one to do the kick off. Karlos Vuelta made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Everardo Arias sent off a good shot on target. Rios Feria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Toxeiro having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Renato Tapia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Club Celta de Vigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 74th match minute, Real Club Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Araujo to maneuver through the defense. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Unai Nuñez was substituted for Cordera Unzueta. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Aquilino Cuevas was substituted for Rios Feria. Nestor Araujo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Everardo Arias scored to the left of an out of position Karlos Vuelta, making the score, 1-3. Real Club Celta de Vigo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
